Maintaining consistent quality and production levels is essential for Hollandia Greenhouses, which produces up to 30 million gerbera stems per year.

Founded in 1952 as a family farm in British Columbia, Hollandia has grown into a 22-acre greenhouse in Pitt Meadows. As the operation expanded, the team focused on ensuring sufficient light—especially during winter—while managing energy use and maintaining consistent crop performance and flower quality.

Hollandia evaluated LED lighting step by step, using trials to confirm performance before expanding across the greenhouse.
