Genson faced the challenge of optimizing strawberry growth and harvesting. With Philips LED lighting and GrowWise control enabled, they can now make use of custom light recipes and automatic dimming. This all leads to improved fruit quality, enhanced worker comfort, and greater sustainability.

Genson uses the Philips LED lighting system combined with the GrowWise control system. This dynamic setup offers custom light recipes, including far-red light for optimal strawberry growth and white light to enhance worker comfort and fruit assessment. Integrated with Ridder, GrowWise automatically adjusts lighting based on external radiation, ensuring consistent light conditions and energy efficiency. Together, this system supports sustainable cultivation, easier harvesting, and high-quality strawberry production year-round.
