Signify introduces 1,040 watt Philips HPS light fixture for a low-maintenance, hybrid light installation in combination with Philips GreenPower LED toplighting

Eindhoven, the Netherlands – Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), world leader in lighting, announces a welcome expansion of its range for horticultural applications, with the Philips HPS lighting fixture. The new addition fits seamlessly into a combination set-up with Philips GreenPower LED toplighting, allowing growers to benefit from the energy efficiencies, customized spectrum and dimmable options from LED, while enjoying the broad spectrum and radiant heat from above through HPS lighting.

The main components of the new HPS fixture – the bulbs and drivers – were developed, manufactured, and tested by Philips. They meet the highest quality standards and guarantee a long life and minimal maintenance costs.
