    408 East/West Expressway Lake
    Underhill Bridge

    Orlando, United States

Heading toward the east entryway into the City of Orlando is the 408 East/West Expressway Bridge where a pair of suspension bridge towers can be seen by drivers as they cross over Lake Underhill. These two towers provided an ideal location to showcase the Colors of the Pride Flag to welcome visitors and locals alike to Orlando.

The task provided by the City was to honor both the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting attack and help to bring healing to the city as a community. Beyond the initial purpose for the new installation, the city could utilize the lighting system to illuminate the towers for future events or special occasions such as paying tribute to a fallen Orlando Police officer, Gay Pride, Cancer Awareness, sporting events, or local charities. The suspension bridge proves to be an inclusive beacon for everyone.

    Impact on the end user

SESCO Lighting continuously works with the city by supplying onsite services and programming when required for new events/occasions through service purchased agreements. The bridge is constantly shared via social media as a guiding light when the Pride show or when any other custom programmed shows are activated.
