Eindhoven, the Netherlands – Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the world leader in lighting, announces the launch of the Philips GreenPower LED gridlighting to drive consistent bud development and more top-shelf flowers in medicinal cannabis cultivation. The grow light is specifically designed for cultivators growing on benches or tiered racking. The gridlighting grow light is an ideal solution for commercial cannabis cultivation facilities of any size - from large high-tech grow facilities to small grow operations.

Flawless light uniformity for consistently dense buds and more abundant top-shelf flowers

With its six light bars, the fixture is optimized to covera 16 square foot area, providing flawless canopy light uniformity, to steer uniform bud development and result in a increased yield of top-shelf flowers. A more consistent harvest schedule, shorter crop cycles than with high-pressure sodium (HPS) lighting, and increased growth predictability, provide growers with a higher production.

Among other key benefits, the gridlighting enables excellent yields with consistent cannabinoid values. On top of that, it’s easy to deploy, with adjustable cables or fixed position hooks, ensuring plug-and-play installation from commercial vertical racking applications to small grow operations. In addition, users can dim levels to tailor light intensity during each growth phase. The Philips GreenPower LED gridlighting offers 0-10 Volt dimming pre-sets to support plant growth through every phase, from propagation to flowering through a rotary dimmer steering either one or several racks at once.

A sleek, easy-to-install solution with a full-spectrum light recipe

Philips GreenPower LED gridlighting’s slim, sleek design, which locates the driver between the bars, maximizes vertical space usage. This space efficiency also means high light uniformity close to the lighting fixture. The full-spectrum light allows for easy inspection in indoor grow facilities. The gridlighting connects from 120-277 voltage and is especially designed with discreet cabling that is easy to manage, minimizes plant damage and keeps facilities’ workers safe. The thermodynamically balanced passive cooling keeps diodes operating at peak efficiency with a light output of 1700 µmol/s.
