New Philips LED Horti Partner in Russia

Tochka Opory Promelectrosvet was founded in 1991 and has been an official distributor of Philips lighting products since the mid 90’s. Headquartered in Moscow, the company has regional representatives in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, as well as a manufacturing plant for non-standard equipment and a large logistics center. A team of professionals works closely together to develop effective technical concepts: planners, light designers, and architects. This team works out of the Light Point Laboratory, which was created to plan and develop lighting solutions. Tochka Opory Promelectrosvet carried out its first project with Philips Horticulture solutions in 2003 at the Moskovsky greenhouse complex in Moscow.

Tochka Opory Promelectrosvet became a certified Philips OEM partner for Horti HID systems in 2013 and an official Horti LED partner in 2015. During the 2015 certification process, employees of the company received extensive training on Philips LED products, in-depth information about light characteristics and the impact of light on plants, as well as a technical training. Tochka Opory Promelectrosvet now has the required knowledge to advise growers on horticulture LED solutions and will be further supported by a multi-functional team consisting of a Philips Key Account Manager, Philips Plant Specialist, and Philips Application Engineer.
