We were asked to come up with a proposal that would enable the town to achieve these multiple objectives. The number one priority for Magos was to find an aesthetically pleasing light source capable of delivering excellent quality of light. Based on these requirements, we proposed our Ocean LED with dedicated bracket options. It was very well received by both Magos and the town authorities.
As discussions had also focused on scalable technology that would meet not only Gradignan’s current needs but its future requirements too, the city also showed interest in the Interact City lighting management system. It didn’t take long for all stakeholders to be convinced by its benefits, and opt for this system.
As the originally proposed light source – which was in line with the lighting designer’s proposals – was not ready to be connected to software based lighting systems, modifications had to be made to enable the light source to be connectable to the remote lighting management system. But it was worth all the efforst! The town now has attractive and aesthetically pleasing high quality of light in line with the desired night-time image.
