5-day International Lighting Design Workshop Kea Island, Greece

 

In October, the 3rd International Lighting Design workshop will take place in Greece. In this 5-day workshop you can experience natural nightlight, evaluate its sufficiency and learn skills to invent darkness minded lighting design concepts.

Workshop details:

 

When: October 10 – 14, 2016.

 

Where: Kea Island, Greece.

 

Costs: € 850,- (This participation fee includes shared accommodation at Kea Villas Apartments from 9 October until 15 October 2016 and participation in a festive Farewell Dinner)

 

This Philips sponsored workshop will make you rethink the modest night-time version of natural lighting. During these five days you will have the opportunity to get familiar with (one of) the following specific technologies:

 

  1. Dynamic Lighting Control
  2. Phosphorescence Aided Lighting
  3. Projection Mapping - Projection Techniques
The International Lighting Design workshop is backed by two Universities with Master Courses in Lighting Design in Madrid (Spain) and Wismar (Germany) as well as by the Department of Architecture of the University of Patras (Greece), the Mobile School of Lighting Design in London and the Kuffner Observatory of Vienna.
