Tasjeel Auto Village is an ambitious project that is claimed to be the largest facility of its kind in the Middle East, and will allow customers to complete the vehicle testing and registration process within a record 30 minutes or less.
A wide range of luminaires are used to create the desired effects for both internal and external lighting. For example facade lighting involves wall washing with Mastercolour CDM-T lamps in 100 in-ground uplights to provide an overall soft wash effect, together with Art colour blue metal halide lamps used to create a contrast between the ground floor and first floor. LEDflood luminaires provide a grazing effect at a steep angle to accentuate the wall textures. This new floodlighting concept is ideal for creatively illuminating and enhancing wall structures with colored light, using high-power LEDs.
LED technology is also used for step lighting, using Amazon luminaires. Window highlighting is provided by low-voltage Mini deco flood luminaires to create an impression of extra depth to the windows. Car park and area lighting is provided by the use of 200 Montmartre luminaires equipped with street light reflectors and 4 meter high decorative columns.
