What is TCO

Total Cost of Ownership calculation (TCO) determines the total economic value of an investment.

Why would you calculate TCO?

Because investment in LED products is initially more expensive, TCO can convince in overall savings due to longer lifetime, less maintenance costs and lower energy bills.

How do I make a TCO calculation?

Use online TCO tool for Application Bundles and follow these four simple steps:

  • Step 1: Determine and select which type of conventional product is used in the existing installation.
  • Step 2: Determine key usage data: number of luminaires in the existing installation, average burning hours per day, days of operation per week, energy price per kWh.
  • Step 3: Type in the average price per unit, for the conventional product and for the Philips LED product
  • Step 4: The online tool automatically calculates the TCO for both solutions and shows a comparison

You can download the report, print it and add it to your offer.

50 luminaires, 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, €0.12 kWh; conventional and Coreline waterproof
