CityTouch and SAP HANA offer a 360-degree view of data

With a steadily growing population, the city of Buenos Aires is continuously striving for improved sustainability, increased energy efficiency and a high quality of life for citizens. With that in mind, the Mayor, Mauricio Macri, sought a scalable lighting solution that combined energy-efficient LED luminaires with sophisticated lighting management from Philips CityTouch. With 91,000 new light points in the city, this lighting system from Philips Lighting, combined with the SAP HANA platform, has helped Buenos Aires reduce operational costs by 50% and the city has seen a major decline in CO2 emissions and given city officials a 360-degree view of data.
