How an energy smart company saves up to 70% on energy costs.

Once it was  decided to fit

out the logistics rooms at the head office in Lichtenvoorde with LED lighting we chose Philips very quickly.”

Customer Challenge

State of Art is keen to operate as energy smart as possible and the roof of the head office is equipped with 221 solar panels. To further this ambition, the lighting in the dispatch room and warehouse was replaced by a Philips lighting system.

The right lighting

Philips supplies the latest technology that provides greater efficiency, such as the Green Warehouse lighting system. This system is the perfect package for warehouses. Depending on the size and layout of the warehouse, the LED lighting can be configured wirelessly in zones. What's more, the LED lighting is dimmable to any desired level, to reduce energy costs even further.

In our dispatch room and warehouses, where the clothes are sorted into carts and pallet locations, we replaced the conventional fluorescent lighting with TTX LED leading lights. Built-in movement sensors ensure that the lighting is switched on or dimmed as required. Once movement is detected, the system easily reverts back to 100% light strength. It has reduced energy use by 50% in zones with full light strength and by 70% in areas where movement detectors are located. What's more, the staff noticed that the lighting shows the colors of our products better.", Martijn Mateman commented.
