Philips lights up Chaumont gardens

Philips has commenced a three-year partnership to supply LED lighting solutions to the prestigious International Garden Festival staged each year at the Chaumont-sur-Loire Centre for Arts and Nature, set in the grounds of a stunning château overlooking the Loire in central France. Under the partnership, Philips is providing around 260 creative lighting installations to the festival, enabling 12 of its gardens to remain open well into the evening for the 300,000 visitors to the festival each year. 

Every year, from May to October, the festival provides a showcase for the world's leading landscape gardeners, designers and architects, becoming a must-see event in the international gardening calendar while acting as a breeding ground for new talent in garden design. Philips LED lamps will not only enhance the beauty of the gardens at night, but thanks to their low energy consumption and robust performance, help lower electricity and maintenance costs for the Chaumont-sur-Loire Centre.
