Because they are so small, LEDs can be built in to the very materials your design is made from. So we can do away with the dull, traditional fixtures and deliver exciting effects based on ‘invisible’ lighting. Imagine ceilings that mimic the sky or windows that simulate sunlight to cheer you up on dark winter days.
So lighting is no longer purely functional – no longer just something to help us see or to tell us when the coffee is ready. It’s a design tool, allowing us to change the feel of a space at the flick of a switch – painting with light.
It’s something that interacts with us – lighting that follows us as we move through a building or space.
It may sound like a cliché, but with LEDs it really is true – your imagination is the only limit to what you can create.
