Videoseries on the ALFA project

In 2008 Philips donated free of charge a large number of its new Solar Uday systems to vulnerable families in the north of Ghana as part of the Affordable Lighting For All project (ALFA). These systems are distributed by a local NGO - (Non Governmental Organization) called New Energy.

This monthly updated videoseries showcases the progress that has been made during the ALFA project in Ghana.

Every month Mr. Amadu of New Energy visits one of the beneficiaries of the Solar Uday lantern to find out how they are using the lantern and how this changed their life.
